Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad in Flint, Michigan is a historic attraction located on Bray Road. This historical site has over 34 buildings and structures that were built during the 1800s. You can visit this site at 6140 N Bray Rd, Flint, MI 48505. It is also home to a vintage ferris wheel and cider mill. There are many events that take place throughout the year at this attraction. The train ride at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad offers guests an opportunity to see the countryside. This ride takes visitors through scenic meadows along Mott Lake. A motor car is operated on the line, as well as two cabooses. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, you might want to consider taking a ride on this railroad. You can spend a few hours at the attraction and enjoy all the activities.
During the day, you can take a train ride or a paddling boat tour. Guests can also enjoy shopping in the village. Many of the buildings are decorated with thousands of lights. In addition, you can learn about 19th century crafts and watch antique craftsmen work at the Village. Besides the train ride, you can also find a general store, a blacksmith shop, a cider mill, and an authentic barber shop.
The main street of the village is also where you will find the Santa’s House. You can choose to visit this attraction at any time, or you can schedule a specific time. The house is located near the kettle corn vendor and the main street. Alternatively, you can take a trip to the Colwell Opera House. This historic building is located within the Genesee Recreation Area.
Another favorite at the Village is the train shop. You can buy a variety of train items such as a hat, a train ticket, or a train mug. Besides trains, you can also enjoy the Genesee Belle, which is a replica of riverboats in the Mark Twain era. Guests can also purchase roasted almonds from the building next to the train shop.
If you want to take a closer look at the museum, you can join the costumed docents for a paddle-wheel tour. Admission to the performance is included with Village admission.

The site offers tours of the buildings, as well as many different activities. It is also a great location for family fun. Visitors can enjoy a 40-minute ride on the narrow gauge railroad or visit the shops and attractions. They can also take part in a tractor-pulled wagon ride. All visitors are welcome, and pets are allowed on the grounds.
At Crossroads Village, visitors can explore a working community from the turn of the century. Originally, the town was supposed to be a farm museum. However, it was decided to make it a living history village. Now, it is the only authentic 1800s village in Michigan. View the next article.
