WHALEY HOUSE MUSEUM

Whaley House is a historic home that is located in San Diego, California. It is one of the most haunted homes in the country. It is located at 624 E Kearsley St, Flint, MI 48503.  The house has been featured in many television shows and movies, and it has been documented for paranormal activity. This popular attraction is not to be missed.

If you’re planning to go to Whaley House, you should be sure to get tickets. The ticket prices vary depending on when you visit the property. Tickets range from $6 to $10, but there are special prices for groups. You can purchase tickets at the Whaley House Museum Shop. Kids up to 12 years old can go for free, but those under the age of six should be accompanied by an adult.

There are several tours to choose from, and each is focused on a different part of the home’s history. Visitors will be able to experience the house’s various haunts, learn about the city’s history, and even participate in community outreach efforts. Tours are available on both the first and second floors of the home. A self-guided tour takes approximately 30 minutes during the day and an hour at night. For a more in-depth look at the house’s history, you can take an after-dark tour. These tours are conducted by docents who provide a more in-depth look at the ghosts, legends, and superstitions that have been associated with the house.

On after-dark tours, guests will be greeted by a docent who will introduce them to the Whaley family and the legends and rumors that have been associated with the house. They will also have the chance to listen for ghostly sounds and sightings. As the evening hours begin, the cries of a young baby can be heard. During the after-dark tours, it is believed that the cries are being heard by Tommie Whaley, a ghost who has been living in the house for 150 years.  Click to see another great visit.

Although most of the history surrounding the Whaley House is unknown, it is believed that several children died at the house. Some of the earliest known ghosts include Yankee Jim Robinson, who was hanged on the grounds of the property. Other Whaley family members can still be found there, including Anna Belle Wasburn, who was hung from the front porch, and the young woman who killed herself in the heart.

The house has been featured in a number of films and historical documentaries. Among the stories centered around the house is the one about a young woman who locked herself in the bedroom after her marriage fell apart. Her cries are said to have been heard by other guests at the house. However, her presence was eventually discovered and she was put on the dining room table. She was believed to have been sad over the breakup of her marriage. Read our next article.

Since opening as a museum in 1960, the Whaley House has been a popular tourist destination. Visitors can enjoy an after-dark ghost tour, a daytime tour, or an afternoon of restoration. In addition to tours, the museum offers a youth docent program for those interested in learning about the history of the property. Through this program, youth docents are able to gain invaluable skills and become trained to provide visitors with information about the home and its history.
