Otisville

Otisville is a mid-sized industrial city in Eastern Michigan. It is located along the M-15 and M-57. The area was once a lumbering town. The population was fairly small. Nevertheless, it had several stores and was a hub for the local farmers.

In 1837, Henry Heister came from New York State and established a lumber mill in the area. John Hayes, Matthew McCormick, and Stephen and Amos Biegel also lived in the area. When the town was renamed Forest in 1855, the Otis family bought out the Hayes family for the lumber mill.

In addition to agriculture and the timber industry, the village is supported by commuters from nearby Flint. As of the 2010 census, the population was 864. This is an increase of 10.9% from the prior year. The median household income was $48,125.

The village is located in the northeastern part of Genesee County. The population is diverse with nearly one-third of residents being young, and over two-thirds of households being made up of individuals. There is a wide array of attractions and entertainment. Some of the local highlights include the Kresge Auditorium and Michigan Legacy Art Park.

The historic Brownstone Haus is a popular vacation rental. You can take in a film or play a game of pool while in this historic home. With four bedrooms, a kitchen, a fireplace, a smart TV, and a toaster, it is a great choice for a getaway or a family reunion.

Another notable place to stay in the area is the Tiny House. This is a tiny house on a lake. This tiny house is centrally located in the United States, and is the perfect place for a getaway or a Sawyer retreat. It includes an in-house washer and dryer, books, towels, and a microwave. A great place to also visit is here.

The “Sweet Retreat At Park In The Woods” is another option. This cozy and clean house offers coffee making facilities and cable/sat TV. This quaint cottage is located next door to the Log Cabin.

The most important thing to remember is that the best vacation is the one that is fun and memorable. In Otisville, this isn’t a hard thing to do. From the plethora of shops and restaurants to the quaint charm, the city is sure to have something to offer. And when you aren’t enjoying yourself, you can take in the scenery. Nearby attractions include the Quanicassee Wildlife Area and Ted Putz Nature Area.

While you are in the area, make a trip to the RITE AID PHARMACY 03510. This pharmacy provides medication services seven days a week. You can also get a flu shot for individuals three years or older. The CDC recommends that everyone have a flu shot before the start of the season. During the flu season, which runs from October through March, the most important way to protect yourself is to get a flu shot.

For the most part, Otisville is conservative. You won’t see many racial or ethnic diversity. However, there is a large group of retirees. Look at this post.
